I created a series based on the 'pop art' style. I chose for this first piece my eye as the focal point for the composition. Roy often drew people in a stylistic manner and used harsh black lines and strokes to portray emotion. I wanted to do the same and used a picture I took of myself and used the 'benday dot pattern' to create skin and harsh white fills for lighting and highlights.
